Ichiro, The New Mr. 3000!


Congratulations to the newest member of the 3,000 Hit Club, Ichiro Suzuki. His #3,000 hit came from a triple in the 7th Inning off of Colorado pitcher Chris Rusin. If you factor in his stats from his time in Japan with the Orix Blue Wave and he has 4,278 total hits.

Next stop Cooperstown...

    Yesterday was a pretty special day for sports... especially baseball. The people over at Topps must be loving it. I'm sure they're raking in the money with their Topps Now cards.
